Topflight Rescue – Pincushion Mountain
Topflight Elite Training and Charters was happy to assist in a Class D rescue operation in Peachland on Friday August 28.
Working with Penticton Search and Rescue, Topflight evacuated a hiker from the top of Pincushion Mountain.
COVID-19
March 24, 2020 – Canadian Helicopters and its partner companies have taken strong action against COVID-19. The company has briefed its employees on safe health practices and is keeping its employees current on relevant and credible information. We have taken steps to minimize the risk of infection to our employees, customers and the general public in all provinces and territories and at our international locations.
Canadian Helicopters is Unveiled as a SkyAlyne Team Member
SkyAlyne has officially unveiled its team of strategic team members with which it will pursue the Royal Canadian Air Force’s (RCAF) Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program. Canadian Helicopters is proud to be a part of this team.
Canadian Helicopters already has an extensive background providing pilot training and maintenance services to the Canadian Forces and is excited to be aligned with other aviation and defence subcontractors.

Major Upgrades for C-GJQG
July 23, 2020 – One of Canadian Helicopters’ Sikorsky S-61N helicopters (C-GJQG) has undergone a significant maintenance project including a major Phase (1 to 7) 10,500 hour inspection, new interior lining installation and application of complete interior and exterior paint. It also went through a major avionics upgrade including the installation of dual State-of-the-art Garmin GTN750 Nav/Comms, dual State-of-the-art Astronautics AFU 4700 Primary Flight Displays, a Garmin GWX75H Weather Radar as well as a Garmin GTX335R ADSB-enabled Transponder. Returning from Antarctica

Îles de la Madeleine Harp Seal Tours
March 2, 2020 – Canadian Helicopters currently has four helicopters in the Îles de la Madeleine providing transportation for tour groups organized by Hôtels Accents – Château Madelinot. The tours provide the unique opportunity to view Harp Seals on the ice floes around the islands. More information on the tours can be found here.
Heliwelders is an Approved Airbus Service Centre
March 25, 2019 – Canadian Helicopters’ sister company, Heliwelders, is an approved airbus service centre. In this photo an Airbus H125 helicopter arrives at Heliwelders Canada in Langley B.C. for completion. Heliwelders will install avionics, interior and customer kits, in addition to painting the aircraft for the manufacturer.
